Mobile Installers Wanted
California Ravelco is the exclusive distributor for the Ravelco
Anti-Theft Device in California. Over 3,500,000 Ravelcos have
been sold worldwide since 1976, and not once has a vehicle been
stolen by bypassing the Ravelco.
California Ravelco is expanding its business and is looking
for auto/truck mechanics and custom fabricators to install the
Ravelco Anti-Theft Device in cars, trucks and heavy equipment.
We are actively looking for friendly professionals in Sacramento,
San Francisco, SF East Bay, Modesto, and Los Angeles.
Job description
Mobile installers travel to customer sites and install the Ravelco
Anti-Theft Device in cars, trucks, big rigs, and heavy equipment.
Job requires working with the electrical systems, drilling and
routing of wires under the dash and in the engine compartment.
Customer sites include places of business as well as homes. The
position requires excellent customer service and mechanical skills.
Installers will:
- Have experience working with cars, trucks, or heavy equipment
(preferably experience with the electrical systems of vehicles,
but this is not required). Custom fabrication is a big plus.
- Be comfortable working with electrical systems, and know
the basics of working safely around electricity.
- Know the proper methods of soldering electrical wires as
butt connectors are not used in our installations.
- Be quality and detail oriented and customer satisfaction
focused.
- Have reliable transportation (car or truck)
- Provide their own tools (wrenches, sockets, wire cutters/strippers,
portable soldering iron, portable drill, etc.)
- Have regular computer, email, and printer access
- Be able to install the Ravelco Anti-Theft Device without
assistance
California Ravelco will provide training, technical support
and installation supplies.
This is a part to full time contract position. Pay range is
anywhere from $ 80 to $ 250 per day.
